DETAILS THAT DEFINE !
To talk about this project we can´t talk about square meters, to talk about this project we must consider capacity, functionality, balance and glamour.
The kitchen of the 602 APARTMENT is characterized by being in a space limited by the architecture of the building, because 2 ducts cross the area and the pipes from the upper floor are embedded within the concrete slab of the ceiling. “The space was limited in area, height and morphology; on the other hand, the client's requirements were precise and ambitious for the size of the place: the challenge was neither simple nor small.”
The design of this kitchen was not a change of style, furniture or finishes; this project required an analytical, meticulous, and even daring approach. The solution had to be avaible to built and precise in its material selection, looking forward a positive change for the owners' well-being.
Thanks to the design, the new kitchen is now a balanced and enriching space for the senses, with an amplified, serene and comfortable atmosphere. Regarding the client's initial requirements: Storage capacity was increased by 16%, an electric dishwasher was included, and a cabinet tower was installed to house smaller appliances, facilitating their constant use and keeping the space clear and organized.
The furniture design and the election of materials are inspired by a retro avant garde aesthetic, evoking warm memories in fusion with versatile and resistant technological advantages of the kitchen solutions. The lighting was tailored to the concept of the apartment, remodeled in 2017, providing optimal and flexible illumination to create different atmospheres according to the desires and needs of each moment.
“Needs give rise to intentions, and intentions in the right hands achieve great and real changes”.
